£2 million was injected into the creation of Dog House – formerly solicitors’ offices which had been vacant for over 30 years. The historic, Grade II listed building has an abundance of soul, style and character; something that is completely unique in the Reading market.

Dog House took 365 days to transform, from rescuing the pigeons that made base in the rotten and leaky roof, to hanging the last piece of wall art on the newly plastered walls.

With spaces for up to 14 people, Dog House studios have been designed to support small companies in gaining a presence within a stimulating creatively focused community.  We pride ourselves on creating places which enable businesses to champion their own brands and creativity within our spaces.

Our design focus at TCN is ‘People not Buildings’. We regenerate unloved buildings with community at the heart. How these spaces will be used by the occupiers is an integral part of the entire design process. Once the Brand ID is established, we create a concept to bring a new lease of life to the building.

Providing a stimulating, quirky, fun and unique environment for them to work and grow; we create a community where everyone genuinely feels part of the Dog House creative campus and is proud to say they work there.
