Located directly outside Temple Meads Train Station in Bristol, Temple Studios is a vibrant social hub offering unique and flexible workspaces for creative and tech businesses in the community. Having been with us almost a year, see how The Content Emporium have quickly settled into their new home and become a valued part of the TCN family below.
A fast-growing, award-winning content agency, they specialise in creating attractive, engaging, on-brand content for large brands, offering a complete outsourced digital content solution.
From social strategy and content creation to community management, web content, e-newsletters, design, photography, and videography, they handle complex national and multi-site content briefs, bringing together all the necessary skills for a seamless, plug-in solution.
Why did you choose to establish the business in this specific TCN workspace?
The location right next to Temple Meads is perfect for us as we have team members coming in from far and wide. We were also drawn to the creative ‘studio’ vibe, allowing us to have our own space while being among other successful creative businesses. It’s got that perfect mix of professional and relaxed for this stage of our company growth, and the gorgeous historic buildings and great facilities sealed the deal.
How does this space work for you and your team?
We’ve got 50 employees working in a hybrid model, hot-desking across the 12 desks in our private office. It’s like an ever-changing game of musical chairs - but in a good way! The setup keeps things fresh, collaborative, and social, which we love. Plus, the flexibility to book different spaces, like meeting rooms (or even the kitchen for our Christmas party), means we can adapt to whatever we need. We've also made use of the downstairs 'swing' seats for team drinks - impressively only one person has ever fallen on the floor.
We've really made the space our own with heaps of ceiling-hung plants and a fabulously bright mural in our brand colour palette on the wall, painted by Molly Hawkins (@mollymural on Instagram). I think that's helped established it as ours, and made it a really special place to be.
How have you benefited from networking and connecting with fellow members, and do you have any advice for others looking to foster similar relationships?
Our team loves a good seasonal event - any excuse for a chat (and maybe a drink). TCN’s events are a great way to connect with other teams, and we've chatted with other teams during gingerbread-making and Christmas events. For me as a founder I've had a few really helpful coffee / kitchen chats with other creative agency founders. It's great to share experiences and we've swapped contacts for accountants, software providers and more.
Any recent awards/exciting projects we can shout about?
We've expanded the company hugely over the past year (in terms of both headcount and revenue), and are now delivering all the digital marketing for 17 shopping centres. The growth in our services has been intense, but having our Temple Studios space to retreat to has been amazing for the team!
